The RNX UPDU is fully modular PDU and consists of a PIM (Power Inlet Module), CBM (Circuit Breaker Module), POM (Power Outlet Module) and ICM (Interface and Controller Module). These modules can be replaced without having to remove the PDU from the rack. This unique feature significantly reduces maintenance time compared with replacing an entire PDU and opens up various possibilities, extending the life of the product helping increase the sustainability of your data centre.
The RNX UPDU offers maximum flexibility throughout the entire life cycle. The outlet modules offer different functionalities that can be combined individually. As such, modules with measurement per outlet can be combined with modules with switching per outlet. At a later stage, PDUs that measure at module level can be easily upgraded to measure per outlet via software. If IT devices are to be controlled remotely, modules that measure can be replaced by modules that can also switch outlets.

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports and one 100 Mbit Ethernet port guarantee numerous network options, ranging from conventional star configuration and gigabit cascading to redundant ring topologies with RSTP (Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol). Using the PoE functionality simply and safely enables a redundant power supply for all PDU controllers.

Many additional options, such as residual current monitoring (RCM type B) or overvoltage protection (SPD) can be integrated into the RNX UDPU.
Up to three external sensors can be connected to the PDU.
